Peri Doyle

With a heart as vast as the universe and a wit sharp enough to rival the most cunning comedians, Peri Lynn Doyle made her mark on this world in ways that will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. Born on August 16, 1986, in Kankakee, Illinois, Peri's journey through life was anything but mundane.

Peri attended Lakes High School in Lakewood, Washington, and furthered her education with an Associate of Arts degree from South Puget Sound Community College in Tumwater, Washington. Not stopping there, she earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western Governors University, showcasing her relentless pursuit of knowledge and ambition.

Known for her honesty, generosity, and energetic spirit, Peri could light up any room with her humor and charm. Her career as a forms and records analyst at the Washington State Department of Revenue from March 2022 until her passing on August 6, 2024, in Tumwater, Washington, highlighted her intelligence and dedication to her work.

However, it was Peri's personal life that truly encapsulated her essence. She adored her partner, Kevin Judy, with all her heart and cherished every moment with her beloved pets. From her love for dinosaurs to binge-watching her favorite shows, including "Star Trek" and anything penned by Stephen King, Peri's passions were as diverse as her character.

She had an innate sense of sarcasm that seemed to be her second nature, and she never hesitated to speak her mind. Strong-willed and fiercely loyal, Peri's personality was a vibrant mosaic of stubborn tenacity and the sweetest soul.

Peri leaves behind a family who cherished her deeply: her partner, Kevin Judy; her brother, Richard Doyle II; her sister, Frankie Doyle; her mother, Tracy Saltzgiver; her father, Richard Doyle; her stepmother, Virginia Doyle; and her nieces, Destiny Doyle and Peyton Doyle. She was a beloved daughter, sister, partner, and aunt whose memory will linger in the hearts of those who knew her.

A service to celebrate Peri’s remarkable life will be held at Funeral Alternatives of Washington, located at 455 North Street Southeast, Tumwater, Washington, on August 23, 2024, from 1 PM to 5 PM. Though she has left us far too soon, Peri’s legacy of kindness, humor, and unyielding spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a testament to the power of living authentically, loving unconditionally, and always, always finding the humor in every situation.
