Peter Del Signore, 44, Area Director for Consonus Health Care Services, died peacefully Saturday surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Holy Rosary Parish in Edmonds at 11:00 am.Peter is survived by his wife, Susan Del Signore and their three children: Lauren 14, Sarah 10, and Ethan 6; mother Theresa Del Signore of NY, brothers Steven (Jan) Del Signore of FL, and Michael (Dottie) Del Signore of VA; nieces, Christina Finkelstein (Jay), Carol Ann Del Signore, Katherine Del Signore Walter (Mark) and nephew James Del Signore.Peter always had a zest for life. He enjoyed having fun with all who knew him and was always the prankster. Our family would like to share some fun times we have had with Pete.Peter always had an infectious laugh and it was quite apparent when he laughed like crazy at his sister-in-law when she fell through the attic. Or the times he thought his older brothers would get into trouble with their parents.Pete always followed the good example that his older brothers, Steve and Mike set for him.Peter always liked flowers and plants from a very young age. However, he had a hard time saying the word flowers and called them slowers. His gardening skills advanced through the years and Sue always knew there was no quick trip when Pete went to the nursery.Peter was a loving father and his children lit up his eyes. He and Ethan always had fun building Lego projects together while the girls had fun playing sor with their Dad. Pete was a great coach and had fun coaching sor, T-ball, and softball. One of Petes big adventures was to run marathons with Sue and was always encouraging Sue as he ran ahead of her laughing along the way.Peter had a big heart and was very giving of himself. He cared for people and found his calling in the medical field.Peter loved adventure and travel. He took advantage of his brothers military careers and travelled to Germany, Virginia, Alaska, North Carolina, and Florida. After college in Buffalo, Peter continued to travel and loved the warm weather. Pete and Sue soon found themselves in Texas and Louisiana before settling in Washington. Pete enjoyed family trips to Washington DC, Hawaii, Oregon, Idaho, Disney World and many roller coaster adventures. And now, a final goodbye from Petes oldest brother:Pete, I held you when you were born, fed you when you hungered, and comforted you when you hurt. I watched you grow from a baby to a man, all the time smiling and entertaining those around you.I gave you to a wonde bride and you made me proud as you turned into a great husband, father, and sussful provider raising three beautiful children.I grieve now as I hold you for the last time on this earth. I point the way to God for now its his turn to hold you. Till I see you again Pete. I love you. StevePete, your suffering has ended and you are now in peace with our Lord. You have touched many lives and we are blessed for the gift of knowing you. Your spirit lives on through your children and those who loved you.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for help with the medical bills. href=http://www.gofundme.com/32sqkg http://www.gofundme.com/32sqkg# Announcement: In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for help with the medical bills. href=http://www.gofundme.com/32sqkg http://www.gofundme.com/32sqkg#
