Philip Orin Powell

Phil was born March 9, 1958 in Denver, CO.  He was raised by his loving Mother Ilene Powell and Grandmother Myra Anderson and loved them both immensely.  Phil has three children, Danny, Cody and Billie Rae Powell with his ex-wife Terri Powell.  He very much loved his children and considered them to be his best accomplishment in life.  He was a very proud Father. Phil had one sibling, his younger sister Vicki Powell.  He loved Vicki and enjoyed playing golf with her.  Phil also loved and respected his Father in Law Les Baker and Brother in Law Eric Baker. Thru out most of his life Phil worked in Hi Tech companies.  During those years he met many good friends and enjoyed the time he spent with them.  In the last year of his life he worked for the U.S. Post Office.  He once again enjoyed working and meeting new friends. Phil enjoyed boating, camping and fishing with family and friends.  He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed watching tennis with his wife Michelle.  Phil had a heart of gold and was one of the kindest men anyone could have ever have known. Phil married Michelle Baker of Berthoud, CO. and were happily married for over twenty years.  Both Phil and Michelle knew the very moment they met that they would spend the rest of their lives together and they did so in such a beautiful way, along with their beloved dog Jackson. Rest in Peace Phil.  You are gone but not forgotten.  I will miss you forever, my Love and my Best Friend. Memorial Mass to be held at a later date.
