Phillip Wayne Conner, 78, husband of Dorothy Conner, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. A native of Versailles, he was born on December 21, 1943 to the late Rodney and Evelyn Drury Conner. He worked for Kroger in Frankfort for over 40 years. Phillip was an avid gun collector and enjoyed deer hunting in his younger years. He never met a stranger. He loved his family, grandchildren, friends and his dogs very much. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Scott Lockridge) Jordan, Versailles; his sons, Anthony (Bobbi) Conner, Versailles, Tim (Peggy) Conner, Versailles; and his grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Kristen, McKenzie, Travis, and Brandon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Gail Conner; his sister, Helen Powell; and his brothers, Rodney Conner, Jim Conner, and Ronald Conner. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd a Celebration of Phillips Life will follow at 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 with Pastor Gary Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Bluegrass or to the National Kidney Foundation.
