Midway Phillip Dale Devers, 61, husband of Barbara Kinder Devers, died Saturday. Phillip was a lifelong resident of Woodford County, born on January 20, 1953 to the late Arthur and Laura Brophy Devers, Jr. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Frankfort and worked at Fawn Leap Farm. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Melissa Devers Coleman and Tracy Devers, both of Midway; his sisters, Cheryl Flora, of Versailles and Sharon Creech, of Midway; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Allen Devers and his niece, Shannon Devers Lambert. Funeral Information Service will be 1:00PM, Friday at Clark Funeral Home, Versailles with Kevin Buntain officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Andy Devers III, Andy Devers IV, Allen Ray Devers, Michael Devers, Kevin Shepard and David Parker. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
