Warner Robins, GA- Phillip T. Hammond “Hams”, 59, passed away on Tuesday, July 19 2016. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday July 28, 2016 at 1:00PM in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. Reverend Phil Bryant will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Phillip’s name. Phillip was born on February 14, 1957, in Alabama to the late Mr. and Mrs. Hammond. He served his country proudly in the United States Army for several years and later went to work, for the City of Warner Robins in the Utility Department. He was a loving father, grandpa, and friend who will be greatly missed by all. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Hammond and mentor, John R. Hill. He is survived by one daughter, Sarah Lawrence; three grandchildren; and his God given family, Barbara L. Hill, John R. “Robbie” Hill Jr, Rosemary Hill Willhite, David Hill, Larry “Redbud” (Susan) Thompson, David “Goat” Hale, Mike Sapp, and Christy Lewis.
