Phillip D Lozano, Jr.
October 18th, 1967 - February 29th, 2024
Mr. Lozano, 56, of Troutman, NC lost his courageous battle with cancer and died at S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville,NC on February 29, 2024. He is now healed in the arms of Jesus but A beautiful life is not gone in death. Phil was born in Los Angeles, CA on October 18, 1967. He is the son of Terri Gutierrez. He is survived by his wife Kara Lozano and son Phillip D. Lozano III. Phil was a devoted and loving Son, Husband, Father, Brother and Friend. Phil was associated with East Baptist Church of Mooresville,NC where he participated and helped in many church outreach activities. He was also an old school member of the Pebble Pushers truck club. Phil was a big supporter for many years to Southview Christian School. Phil worked as a Project Manager for Atlantic Drywall and Paint of Statesville,NC. He was well-known and well-loved where he worked for the last 17yrs. He will be greatly missed by so many. He leaves behind lots of Love and Laughter!Additional survivors include his Brother, Carlos Montano and wife Rosa, His Sister Kathy King and husband Randy, Sister Martha Petterez and husband Ed, along with Nephew Michael Ruiz and Danette Ruiz, Nephew Chris Ruiz and wife Jessica, Niece Amanda Barretto and Neice Mikala Davis and husband Danny, along with many Aunts and Uncles and Great Nephews and Great Nieces. He was predeceased by his niece Desiree Montano. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11am at Eastside Baptist Church, 182 Linwood Rd, Mooresville, NC 28115, followed by a Fellowship afterwards at Eastside. We will have some of his favorite foods such as Tacos and Nachos. Phil always said that if he won the lottery he would put it the playground/Athletic department of Southview Christian. In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to the Lozano Memorial fund for a new gym floor.
