Byron, Georgia – Phillip Wayne Malcom, 74 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 21, 2020. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral service from 2:00PM till 3:00PM on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home beginning at 3:00PM. Immediately following the services Mr. Phillip will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Phillip was born on December 2, 1946 in Monroe, Georgia to the late Lucille Jones and George Malcom. Phillip was a devoted family man who loved being with those he loved and reflecting on the good memories they all had made with one another. Phillip proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Upon his discharge, he worked at Crumptons shoes where he would later retired as a manager. He was a hardworking man who was very charismatic towards his family and their needs. Phillip moved to the Middle Georgia area to help care for his beloved daughter, Kimberly Reinerth and her daughter Gracie. Phillip was well known for his famous “Donald Duck” impersonation and his love for his grandchildren. He was a car enthusiast who would often times talk about his Model T and how much he had loved it. Phillip will forever be remembered as a loving, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many. In addition to his parents there awaiting for him at the gates of heaven was his beloved daughter, Kimberly Malcom Reinerth. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved children, Charles Lee Malcom (Claudia), Randy Malcom (Joy), and Shane Malcom (Susan); sister, Dianne Adcock (Nelson). He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of etended family members.
