Phyllis was born in Garwin, Iowa on September 3, 1928 and she passed away in Portland, Oregon on December 19, 2011. Phyllis was tenaciously in love with her children and their families throughout her life and she appreciated each of their individual qualities. She is survived by her sons, David Briggs, Sr. (Linda Foth), Stephen Briggs, Jeffrey Briggs (Mary Briggs); grandchildren Keith Briggs, David Briggs, Jr., Lisa Briggs, Greg Briggs and (Annalise), Marissa Lybarger (Ryan), Scott Briggs (Erin), and great grandchildren, Easton and Jaylen Lybarger, Naomi, Zappora, Tiberius, and Malachi Briggs. A private service is planned. Arrangements by Autumn Funerals, Cremation & Burial, Tigard, Oregon.
