Phyllis Ann Davis

Obituary Phyllis Ann Davis (Goodenberger), age 87 of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Columbine West Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was born to Bert A. and Grace M. (Nelson) Goodenberger on January 6, 1933 in McCook, Nebraska. Phyllis graduated from McCook High School with the class of 1950. In 1952, she graduated from McCook Junior College. Phyllis went on to attend Colorado A&M, now Colorado State University, and graduated with the class of 1954. She worked as a secretary in government offices in Fort Collins and Greeley, Colorado. On August 24, 1957, Phyllis was united in marriage to Donald L. Davis in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They lived in various places such as Los Angeles, California; Fort Collins, Colorado; Castle Rock, Colorado; Greeley, Colorado; Rush Springs, Oklahoma; and Ogallala, Nebraska before settling in Carr, Colorado in 2016. They had three children, Matt, Burt, and Suzanne. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wayne, Marvin, John, and Gilbert; sisters, Dela Warner and Geneva Rouse. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald; sons, Matt and his wife Melodye Davis of Friendswood, Texas; Burt Davis of Ft. Collins Colorado; her daughter, Suzanne and her husband Robert Noyer of Carr, Colorado; her brother, Phillip and his wife Marilyn Goodenberger of McCook, Nebraska; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren along with many other family and friends.
