Phyllis Yvone Schwartz

In loving memory of Phyllis Yvone Schwartz, born in South Dakota on October 9th, 1930. She left this world holding hands, surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her own home, and met with the heavenly father on August 20th, 2021, at 90 years old. She was a devoted wife to Dr. Arthur D. Schwartz. Phyllis left behind 7 children by the names of Sharon Pallesen, Sandy Dobbert, Benjamin Schwartz, Eric Schwartz (Wife: Marie), Nathan Schwartz (Wife: Kristen), Yenina Schwartz, Yesenia Schwartz, and Janina Garcia (Granddaughter). She also leaves behind an additional 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and two beloved canines Princess and Duchess. Preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Phyllis was a loving mother raising many children. In her early years partnered with Dr. Schwartz, accounting and managing their orthopedic surgical practice in Hemet California. Phyllis has always been active in the Catholic Church. Phyllis and Arthur retired and moved to Santa Barbara where they have enjoyed many years together. During her time with Holy Cross, she was in charge of Safeguard The Children and worked side by side with the Nuns in the C.C.D. program. She enjoyed being the lector on Saturday evening mass, always spreading the word of the Lord. If there was a job at the church to get done, she did it. Santa Barbara, California 93109 Services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 25th 2021 at 10am. Following the service, the burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
