Pilar Edgardo Taylor

Pilar Taylor was born October 12, 1938. He is survived by his wife Dora (50 years) his son Pilar Taylor Jr.(Marshel), daughter Carmen Thomas (Marcus), son Denis Taylor and three grandchildren Jordan, Ryan and Matthew. He left high school and joined the Air Force where he worked in communications. After he served he attended Old Westbury College and then became an Air Traffic Controller. He was a true Renaissance man: he had his own radio show (because of his great voice) playing his favorite Latin music, he started his own publishing company, El Coqui, and was a truly gifted artist in both print and paint. He loved gardening, the beach and spending time in the Florida sun with his soul-mate Dora, his family and beloved Yeyo.
