Pleasie Lavon Clem

Nicholasville, KY Pleasie Lavon Clem, 87, born August 2, 1929 passed from this life on January 21, 2017. He was the son of the late Ed and Edith Clem of Irvine, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Edna Louise Clem. Also, by one sister, Ruby Walls and three brothers, Linville, Stan, and Marvin Clem. He is survived by two sons; John Clem and James Clem, his wife Anna one daughter, Sherry Presley, and an adopted son, Scott Clem, his wife, Sheila. Six grandchildren: Andrew Clem, Adam Clem, John David Clem, Randy Holman, Christopher Presley, and Rebecca Clem. Nine great-grandchildren: Madeline and Chase Clem, Colin and Grayson Clem, Danielle, Aubrey and Izabella Clem, Joshua Clem and Becca Lynn Presley; also survived by another daughter-in-law; Susan Clem, one brother, Donald Clem and four sisters, Edna Kelley and Anne Fussell and Sue Neikirk and Billie Sharon Robinson (Bob). One sister-in-law, Madonna Clem. Lavon was a retired minister having served the Lord in Eastern Kentucky for 30 years. A member of Nicholasville United Methodist Church since 1961 and taught the Wise Sunday School Class for 14 years. Funeral Information Memorial services will be held at 2PM, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Nicholasville United Methodist Church. Lavon was a veteran of the United States Army and will be buried with his wife at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
