Nenette grew up in the Philippines and graduated valedictorian of her high school class. She attended Far Eastern University in Manila, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She then ventured to the US to attend Loyola University in Chicago, IL, where she earned a Master's in Education/Counseling. She later earned another degree in Counseling and Psychology from Western New Mexico University. It was at Loyola University where she met her husband, Raymond J. Boucher. They married on July 4, 1963 and later had three sons, Raymond, Ronald and Richard Boucher. She was an attentive and loving mother, who was always proud to share pictures and details about her children. As a family, the Bouchers lived in various places, including Microneisa (Chuck, Palau,) Philippines, New York, Marshall Islands, and New Mexico (Tohatchi, Gallup,) where she primarily worked as an educator and a counselor. After their children were grown, Nenette and Ray lived in Gallup, the Marshall Islands and Albuquerque. Nenette was proud of her Filipino heritage and enjoyed making traditional foods and teaching others traditional Filipino songs and dances. Nenette was enthusiastic in whatever she did. She enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, and documenting events through scrapbooking, but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Nenette's faith was her foundation. As a young adult, she was a Columban Sister in the Roman Catholic Church. She decided to leave the sisterhood before marrying Ray. Wherever she lived, Nenette was an involved member of the Church, and she remained a faithful servant of God. Nenette is survived by husband Raymond J. Boucher, Children Raymond M.
