Prescilla M. Garcia

Prescilla M. Garcia of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Monday August 10, 2015 at her residence with her loving family beside her. Prescilla was born in Tajique, New Mexico to Domingo and Adelita Barela. Prescilla was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and sister; she will be greatly missed. Prescilla was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy Garcia, her parents, Domingo and Adelita Barela; brothers, Onofre, Domingo Jr. and Jeff Barela. Prescilla is survived by her son, Roland Garcia; daughter, Josie Montoya and husband Tony; brothers, Ray, Victor and wife, Delora, Felix and wife, Teresa, Gilbert and wife, Marie and James Barela; sisters, Rafaelita Espinosa and husband, Clyde, Sally Chavez and husband, Mariano, Nellie Barela, Viola Johnson and husband, Eddie, Romelia Knoell and husband, Harold, JoAnn Romero and husband, Tony, and Yolanda Ballejos and husband, Ciprian; grandchildren, Sabina, Stephanie, Marcos, Christina, Renee and Rick; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Aurora, Brielle and Rafael; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Eddie Johnson, Gilbert Barela, Marcos Montoya, Rick Garcia Ruben Valenzuela and Felix Barela. A viewing will be held on Friday August 14, 2015 beginning at 1:00 pm at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 2:00 pm.
