Priscilla Rodriguez Sommer, 34, lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away on March 31, 2018 in Santa Clara county. She was born on July 6, 1983 in California. She previously worked as a homeless advocate at the Hope Center for many years. She is survived by her husband, Chris, sons, Eric and Adrian, father Toby(Laura)Rodriguez, mother Yolanda (Al)Garza, brothers, Eric, Brandon, Julian, sister, Lillian(Richard), nephews, Appolo and Jordan, nieces, Devine and Emily, step-siblings, AJ, Marissa and Liz. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles,cousins and other loving family/friends. She will be dearly missed. We will always cherish the memories of her beautiful smile, her laughter and bubbly personality. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Luz Rodriguez, paternal grandmother Celia L.Rodriguez, maternal grandfather Salvador Huerta Sr., maternal grandmother Consuelo Huerta, aunt Lucia R.Estrada, uncles, Salvador Huerta Jr., Manuel Huerta and cousins, Jorge (Chris) Cervantes, Freddie Huerta and Luis U. Duarte. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil 7pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, April 9, 2018 1:30pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 22 Stone St. Salinas, CA 93901. Cremation to follow services and an Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott. St. Salinas, CA 93901.
