Prudence “Prudy” Disney Bernhardt - Services for Prudence Disney Bernhardt, 79, of Columbia, SC, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the Bernhardt family. Prudence Bernhardt passed away April 6, 2023. Born in Baltimore Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Preston Disney and Mabel Hovan Disney. Prudy moved to South Carolina in 1978 with her husband and two children. She retired from BB&T Bank after many years of service. Prudy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a caretaker, and loved spending time with her family and her dogs. Prudy is survived by her daughter, Kerry L. Franklin of Chapin, SC; son, Brian E. Bernhardt of Columbia, SC; grandsons, Tyler Franklin (India), and Eric Franklin (Jessica); great-grandsons, Tristan Tuggle, Wyatt Franklin, Porter Franklin; niece, Bethany Enoff (Tom); great nephews, Caleb Enoff and Dylan Youmans; great niece, Alayna Enoff. In addition to her parents, Prudy was predeceased by her sister, Sally Disney Miller and her loving dog, Nugget. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pets, Incorporated, 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170
