Services for R. Michael "Mickey" Baker, 86, of Irmo, will be private. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. Richard Michael "Mickey" Baker passed away on April 15, 2024. Born in Abbeville, SC, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Baker and Geneva Martin Baker. In addition to his parents, Mickey was predeceased by a sister, Naydean Martin Baker. Mickey retired from the South Carolina Employment Security Commission (now the Department of Employment and Workforce) with 34 years of service. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
