Rachel Diane Oxford

Rachel Diane Oxford, born September 23, 2006 in Dallas, Texas to Rickey and Kimberly Oxford, entered glory on December 22, 2021. Rachel passed away in her sleep from cardiomyopathy. Rachel was a spirited teenager who loved coloring her hair, playing games with her family and drawing anime. Most of all Rachel loved going to Camp Victory Junction where she could connect with friends with similar illnesses. At camp she experienced independence and a whole lot of fun. Rachel is preceded in death by her grandmother Barbara Jean Oxford, her cousin Isaac Oxford, and her grandfather Claude Anders Oxford Jr. Rachel leaves behind her parents, and her siblings: Addy Edwards (Jacob), Caleb Oxford, Samuel Oxford, Dominique Oxford, and Elijah Oxford, one nephew Julien, grandparents Bob and Marie Gunther, and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. Rachel professed Jesus as her Savior in 2014 so we rejoice knowing she is now with her Creator and we will see her again soon. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, NC. The family will recieve friend one hour prior to the service.
