Rafael M. Uribe born March 8, 1946. Rafael M. Uribe passed away peacefully on June 10, 2020, with his family by his side. He was born Colima, Mexico and moved to Salinas in mid 70s. He was a musician who became a barber and owned Castroville Barber Shop for 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, going to the gym and jazz concerts with his compadre Pete and grandson Carlos. Rafael is survived by his wife Odelma Uribe, sons Robert Rose (Rebecca), Rafael Uribe Jr. (Ruby) and daughter Diane Rendon. Grandsons Carlos Mena (Samantha) and Sergio Uribe. Granddaughters Maricella Rose, Lucero Rose, Iree Uribe and Zyla Uribe. Great-grand kids Ella, Anthony, Catarina and Ezekial.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
