Ralph F. Callies of Springfield, Oregon passed away on October 26, 2014 of heart failure at the age of 78.He was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to Raymond and Elizabeth (Lempel) Callies.He had an 8th grade education and worked in the Timber Industry and as a Maintenance Worker.Ralph also served in the Air Force from February 1, 1957 to September 19, 1962.He married Lorena Cox Hutcheson in 1964 in Fairfield, Idaho they were married 38 years until her death in 2002.He is survived by 14 grandchildren, Reese, Shane, Jennie, Hayley, Ryan, Erin, Daniel, Joseph, Amy, Katie, Kallie, Bret, Bart & Lafe, also daughter’s In Law, Jo and Linda Hutcheson, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife and stepsons, Warren and Lee Hutcheson, a granddaughter, Stacey Hutcheson and great granddaughter, Saydee Blaska.A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at LDS Chapel, 1533 Market Street, Springfield, Oregon.Memorial contributions can be sent to Meals on Wheels.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
