Ralph Leroy Dines
June 19th, 1940 - March 25th, 2021
Ralph Leroy Dines, 80, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021, with his two children by his side. Ralph devoted the last several years to caring for his beloved wife. Margie preceded Ralph in death by 34 days. His last words were, “I just want to be with my wife.” We truly believe he died of a broken heart. He was born June 19, 1940 at home in Marsing, Idaho to Russell and Faye Dines. Ralph graduated from Marsing High School in 1958. Ralph married the love of his life, Margie Dines, on October 6, 1963 and they shared 57 wonderful years together. Through this union, they were blessed with two children: Tracy (Raymond) Gaviola and Kelly (BJ) Dines; four grandchildren: Madison (Cole) Pryor, Britney (Josh) Behrens, Conner Goff and Josh Dines; and three great grandchildren: Aspen, Caisey and Presley. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lucille Aldrich and Donna Webb; two brothers, Frank Dines and George Dines; son in-law, Tim Goff; two sisters-in-law; and five brothers-in-law. Ralph is survived by his children; grandchildren; brother, Rich (Sherry) Dines; in-laws: Jackie Dines, Ellen Dines, Bob Webb; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1st at 10:30 A.M. at the Marsing American Legion Hall Post 128, 126 Old Bruneau Hwy in Marsing, with a graveside burial to follow at Marsing-Homedale Cemetery. A reception will be provided at the Hall after the burial. In lieu of flowers and plants, donations can be made in Ralph’s name to the Marsing Lions Club.
