April 23rd, 1940 - April 13th, 2019
Ralph R Leyba, born April 23, 1940, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2019. Ralph proudly served for the United States Marine Corps., he retired from the State of New Mexico as a Building Inspector. Ralph was very passionate about music and was a well-known musician throughout Northern New Mexico, and was a member of Los Rancheros Allegres. He was also well known in the Softball community as the Vice President and Umpire for the Greater Santa Fe Softball Association. Ralph was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. His most cherished moments were spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents Natividad and Tomasita Leyba, daughter Karyn, sister Predicanda, brother Hilario Leyba. He is survived by his children Chip, and Jeannie, 6 grandchildren, Mark, Matt, Levi, Ty Jenny, Cody, 2 great grandchildren Canaan, Aurora, sisters Rose and Lucy.
