Ralph M.“Ralphie” Piccolo – Chapin – Visitation for Ralph M. Piccolo, 74 of Chapin, will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home on 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. Ralph Piccolo passed away August 20, 2019. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Ralph Piccolo and Mazie Warfield Piccolo. He lived an extraordinary life filled with adventures, laughs, and everlasting memories. He fought through countless obstacles in life and faced them with perseverance and determination. He lived a life with no complaints and loved those around him deeply. No words can encompass who he was as a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, brother-in-law and friend. For a small man, he leaves behind giant shoes to fill. He will be deeply missed and will live on through all those he has left. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Belle Piccolo; daughters, Tiffany Piccolo (Robbie) of Chapin, Michelle Oestreich (Ryan) of San Tan Valley, AZ, son, Michael Piccolo (Brenda) of Bagdad, AZ; grandchildren, McKenna Dytko and Paige Oestreich; brother, Billy Piccolo (Young) of Tysons Corner, VA; and a large and loving family. In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his brothers, Jimmy, Anthony, Bobby Piccolo; sisters, Maryann Piccolo, Rosalie Piccolo and grandson, Michael Piccolo. The family would like to thank first and foremost Dr. Joseph Evans and Krista at Chapin Family Practice, the staff of Prisma Health Parkridge Hospital, Lexington Medical Center Radiology Department, Dr. Christopher Marshall, and Dr. Steven Madden for their loving care.
