Ralph Joseph Vartuli, Sr

Ralph Joseph Vartuli Sr., age 81 of Hayesville NC passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Melbourne FL on August 6, 2016. He was born in Winooski VT on November 29, 1934 to the late Joseph and Felice (Sette) Vartuli. He was the youngest of 8 children. He was precede in death by his brother Michael J. Vartuli , sisters Mary Mathon Josephine Menginie and Madeline Kalvoda. He is survived by his brothers Dominic Vartuli (Lorraine) of Fishkill NY, Frank Vartuli of Mount Kisco, NY and Katherine Scott (Wilna) of Essex Jct. VT. He is also survived by his children Ralph J. Vartuli Jr. of Murphy NC, Julia (Vartuli) Rigsby (Mark) of Melbourne FL, Anthony Vartuli (Renee) of Atlanta Ga., Andrew Vartuli of Hayesville NC and Joseph Vartuli (Kim) of Hayesville. He was divorced from Charlotte (Vincent) Backiel and was separated from Helen (Bradley) Vartuli of Grand Isle VT, they were married October 1964. He was a Grandfather to 7 grandchildren and a Great-grandfather to 9 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends! He was an avid fisherman and loved the Fords he sold before he retired. He loved his family and would do anything for any of us! He always had a ready smile! He is already greatly missed! At his request his ashes will be taken to VT at a later date. Atlantic Mortuary & Cremation Services in Rockledge FL will be taking care of him.
