Ralph Emerson Waldo III

Obituary July 22, 1939-June 19, 2021 Ralph was born in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Indiana University. His first job was a high school English teacher in Michigan where he started a swimming program and was the coach. He also worked for Sunoco and Xerox while living in Indiana. But the bulk of his life, Ralph was a real estate agent extraordinaire in Fort Collins, Co. He was a partner at The Group Real Estate Co for over 30 years achieving Realtor of the Year in 1985. Ralph loved his community and generously volunteered time with the Chamber of Commerce, Northern Colo Legislative Alliance and Northern Colorado Economic Development (NCEDC). In 2011, he was the recipient of the Regional Economic Development Excellence award. Ralph was often seen riding his bike on short and long adventures with his beloved Big Dogs group of guys, running 5 Ks as well as full and half marathons. One of his most favorite pastimes was drinking Malbec. Ralph was married to some fascinating women; Renee, Joanne and lastly Debbie. He had amazing children for whom he is especially proud; Ralph IV (Christine) of Carmel, Indiana, Steve of Denver, CO, and Bethany of Ft Collins. He also was proud of his step children, Jenny Reevie (Kirk) and Greg Hayter (Eleanor). He sure got a kick out of his grandchildren, Peyton Waldo and Ralph Emerson Waldo V. In addition he had adventures with Debbies grandchildren; Kaden Reevie, Ashlynn Reevie and Jack Reevie. He is survived by a sister, Julia Gill, brother, Bill Waldo and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph II, and Mary Jane Waldo, and his brother, Bob Waldo. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, Aug 1, 2021 at 10:30 am. at the Windsong Estate, 2901 Saddler Rd. Severance.
