Ralph Marvin Weaver

Blountville - Ralph Marvin Weaver, 73 of Blountville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a long illness. He was retired from the Sullivan County Board of Education. Ralph loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Myrtle Cole Weaver; sisters, Faye McLain, Onita Shelton and Dorothy Eaton. Ralph is survived by his wife of 51 years, Charlene Rogers Weaver of the home; son, Joey Weaver and wife Vanessa of Blountville; granddaughters, Whitney Duncan, Megan Stout and husband Josh and Abby Weaver; great-granddaughter, Jayden Stout; sister, Carolyn Broadwater and husband Darrell; special niece, Tammy Smith; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Garnie Snavely officiating. A eulogy will be given by Monica Rogers-Lawson. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Fleenor, Jack Wright, Joe Haynes, Shannon Puckett, Josh Puckett and David Lawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim McLain and Darrell Broadwater.
