Ralph W. Willis, 90 of Yuba City, was granted his angel wings on February 2nd, 2023. Ralph was a lifelong resident of Yuba-Sutter area and had recently moved to Magalia with his Granddaughter, Tony Johnson (Travis). Ralph was born to Aubrey and Phenton Willis on July 4, 1932 in Pecan Gap, Texas. He moved to the Yuba- Sutter area when he was a teenager. At the age of 18 he joined the military. He served in the Navy from 1950 to 1954. After being honorably discharged, he went to work for the Yellow Cab company owned by his parents. He then went on to work for Williams and lane, Morgan Equipment, Detroit Diesel, Granite Construction, R&M Heavy Equipment etc. as a Lead Diesel Mechanic, with the last one being Ralph's Mobile Repair. Ralph was a "Super Mechanic" and was ranked number 1 in the USA. He was granted this honor 3 times meaning he was number 1 for 30 years. Ralph was recently divorced from his wife, Patricia Willis. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Reynolds (JC) of Sacramento, his Granddaughter/Caregiver, Tonya Johnson (Travis), his Grandon, Robert Renneberg (Tammy), Great Granddaughter, Amanda Alamilla (Jose), Great Grandsons, Hayden and Dustin Johnson, Great Grandson, Joseph, Justin, Chase Renneberg, Great Great Granddaughters, Halena and Azayleah Alamilla and numerous other family members. Ralph was preceded in death by his first wife, Virene Willi, His daughter, Kathrine Willi, His brother, Jimmy Willis and parent, Aubrey and Phenton Willis. Graveside Services will be held at Sutter Cemetery on February 22, 2023, at 2pm. Reception details are still pending at this time.
