Ramon Gonzalez

Gonzalez, Ramon, 80, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, November 12th at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Havana, Cuba, he came to St. Petersburg in 1955. He was a master craftsman in terrazzo and formed his own company along with his brother, Frank. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Blanca, daughter, Sue McGough, son, Ray Gonzalez, granddaughters, Michelle Gonzalez and Maureen McGough, brother, Frank Gonzalez, a niece, a nephew and a grandnephew. He is also survived by a daughter-in-law, three sisters-in-law and distant relatives in Cuba and Miami. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1900 12th St. N., St. Petersburg, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
