Ramon C. Griego

Ramon (Ray) C. Griego, age 57, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023. Ray was born in Albuquerque and raised in Manzano. Ray was the type of person that if you needed something he knew someone or where to go to get it. If you needed someone to just talk to, he would lend you an ear. Ray’s favorite things to do was spend time with his grandchildren and to ride his motorcycle. He loved to joke and laugh with family and friends. Ray was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Ray is preceded in death by his father Albert Griego, brother Anthony Griego, son Raymond Griego Jr., grandmother Severa Freelong and many other family members. Ray is survived by his children Samantha and Husband Josh Germany, Desiray and husband Angel Sandoval, Thomas and wife Ruby Griego and Veronica and husband Angelo Carrillo. His 11 grandchildren, Edward, Felicity, Adrieana, Tiana, Andi, Selena, Romeo, Cayden, Zoe and Zander. Mother Susan and husband Reynaldo Monctezuma, sister Michelle and husband Louis Gomez, sister Deborah Griego and sister Erica and husband Patrick Morales and many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. Services will be held on Friday December 1, 2023 at Our Lady of Sorrows in Manzano, NM. Rosary at 10.00am with mass to follow at 10:30am.
