Ramona K Adams

Ramona K Adams of Puyallup, Washington, 87, passed away in Sumner, WA on May 3, 2019. She was born on October 4th, 1931 on the family farm in Pottawatomie County, Kansas to Martha and Arthur Kuhn. Ramona was a a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Puyallup where she enjoyed serving as a deacon and a member of the Presbyterian Women. She also did volunteer work at her local food bank. As an avid reader, she participated in a local book club. Ramona graduated from the University of Wyoming and worked as a librarian at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood, WA. Her greatest joy in life was having her four children, eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She cherished them and was an important source of love and support for them all. She is survived by her children - Edward B Adams, Oak Harbor, WA; Suzanne Price, Gilbert, AZ; Patricia Jo Hillius, Auburn, WA; Janet Richter, Boardman, OR; and her brother Robert Kuhn of Rockport, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband E. Blair Adams in 1980 and husband George Adams in 1996. Graveside service will be held Wednesday May 8th, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, WA. Rev. Sue Watkins will officiate the ceremony. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner, WA. A memorial service will be held on June 6th, 2019 at the First Presbyterian Church Puyallup.
