A graveside ceremony will be on Thursday in Santa Cruz for Ramona Belletti who passed away on May 21, 2012 at Sunshine Villa in Santa Cruz. Born in Ben Lomond, California, she was 87 years old. Ramona's family will forever remember her hard working ethics and her devotion to those she loved. She first worked at the Santa Cruz Hotel, then as a cannery line worker, and retired with Wm. Wrigley's in Santa Cruz, following a 30-year career with that company. She leaves behind many dear friends and her nurses and caregivers at Sunshine Villa where she was a resident for the past 6 years. She received many prayers from the nursing staff who made her comfortable and blessed her on her way from this life. Ramona leaves many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, including Phil and Janice Allegri, and Gladys and Charles Nixon. She will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Holy Cross Cemetery (2271 7th Ave.) in Santa Cruz, beside her husband Leo Belletti who preceded her in death in 1975. Remembrances may be made in her name to Alzheimer's Association of Santa Cruz (1777 "A" Capitola Road, Santa Cruz, CA. 95062) or to Hospice of Santa Cruz County (940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, CA. 95066)
