Randall W. Larson
July 18th, 1920 - May 30th, 2008
Reverend Randall W. Larson, minister in the Puyallup area since 1961, died May 30, 2008. He was born July 18, 1920 in Muskegon Heights, Michigan to Arthur and Pearl Larson. He attended Northwestern University, Moody Bible Institute and Wesley Theological Seminary. An ordained Methodist minister, he served churches in Maryland, Montana and Washington (Pasco, Puyallup and Orting). He also served as an Adult Probation and Parole Officer and Tacoma office district administrator with the WA Dept. of Social and Health Services. At the time of his death, he was Chaplain at the Washington Soldiers' Home in Orting. Randy is survived by Helen, his sweetheart of 76 years and wife of 66 years, his five children, Donna Miley, Dixie Pommerelle, Craig Larson, Debbie Larson and Pam Bone, their families, including 8 of his 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A Service of Celebration through Music and Song will be held Saturday, June 21 at the Puyallup United Methodist Church, 1919 West Pioneer, at 7 PM. No flowers please. Memorials may be made to the FISH Food Banks, 1224 So I St, Tacoma, WA 98405.
