Memorial

Randall Avery Montgomery, 60, of Charlotte NC., went home to be with the Lord, on Oct 25, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family after his battle with cancer. Randy loved his family with all of his heart. He was kind and funny. He made friends very easily, wherever he went. You would know what I mean, if you ever met him. It was the simple things in life that made him happy. Randy was a carpenter by trade, known as "Handy Randy". There was nothing he couldn't build or fix. One of his favorite hobbies to do was build models such as cars, planes, boats. You name it he could build it! There was nothing he couldn't fix on a house. He took pride in his work and loved being at home with his family. Trish and his 4 dogs were his world! There wasn't anything he wouldn't do just to make them happy. Randy loved all his dogs Rusty, Major, Sadie, Diamond, but his baby was Diamond. They loved each other so much and went everywhere together such as yard sales, thrift stores and junking. When Randy was first diagnosed with cancer and he was put in the hospital. We had to put diamond to sleep. She missed him so much but her kidneys just gave out. She was 16 years old. Now him and Diamond are together with all our Loved ones. Randy lived and loved with his whole heart. He will be missed beyond measure.
