Randall Morrison, 68, son of the late Ola Mae Cercoply (Julius Cercoply, Stepfather) and L.D. Morrison, passed away June 4, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington, SC, conducted by Pastor Eddie Bouknight. The family will greet friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service. Following the service there will be a burial at Woodridge Memorial Park on Corley Mill Road in Lexington. Randy was born December 4, 1954, in Peoria, Illinois. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. He married the love of his life, Susan Henson Morrison, on January 3, 1975. Susan passed April 21, 2022 and he was completely heartbroken. Randy was an avid Gamecock fan, and an amazing Father and Poppy. He always took care of his family first. Surviving are his 3 children, Jennifer Leigh Bell (Andrew) of Columbia, Ross Morrison of Lexington, Erin M. Bouknight (Mike) of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Joshua “JT” Bouknight, Allyson Bouknight, Ansleigh Bell, Gabriel Bell; sister, Linda Brabham (Wiley); his nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Charlie. In lieu of flowers, please give to a church building fund of your choice or the American Cancer Society.
