Randolph "Randy" Ray Hendrickson

Randy Ray Hendrickson passed away in the comfort of his home on March 18th, 2021 after long battles with heart disease and COPD. He was born on January 14th 1960 in Yakima, Wash. to Verne Michael Hendrickson and Wanda Lee Atkins. The Hendrickson family moved around while he was young but eventually settled in Canby, Ore. when Randy was in 8th grade. Randy enjoyed wrestling, as well as playing football and baseball for Canby High School. He graduated from Canby Union High School in 1978, but would remain a member of the Canby community for the rest of his life. Randy married his wife of 38 years, Judy Ann Kuntz on May 14, 1982. The couple would welcome four children, Randy Vincent in 1983, Creston Michael in 1986, David Nicholas in 1989, and daughter Helen in 1991. Throughout his life Randy was an avid sports fan. Some of the best moments of his life were spent coaching his children on the baseball/softball field. He also loved working on DIY projects and with wood. He had a dream of someday opening up a wood working shop. Randy is survived by his wife Judy Ann Hendrickson of Barlow, Ore., his son Randy Vincent Hendrickson and daughter in law Rebecca of Molalla, Ore., his son Creston Hendrickson and daughter in law Krystal of Canby., Ore., daughter, Helen Hendrickson of Oregon City, Ore., and sister Ilene Hendrickson of Gresham, Ore., and grandchildren Kyra, Kary, Danny, Addie, Vivy, and Lexi, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rickie Lee Hendrickson, sister Leta Kay Hendrickson, and son David Nicholas. The family is planning a private church service as well as a public Celebration of Life, to be held on Friday, June 25th, 2021 at Barton Park (Picnic Area #2, 19009 SE Barton Park Rd, Boring OR, 97009) at 12:00 PM.
