Randy Dee Hurles
September 28th, 1961 - August 21st, 2024
Randy Dee Hurles, born on September 28, 1961, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2024, at the age of 62. His sudden passing has deeply saddened his family and friends.
Randy is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 24 years, Kristi Hurles; his mother, Sarena Hurles; his son, Robert Hurles; his daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly & Russell Papp and Rebecca & Rick Stewart; his stepdaughter, Cassie Pippen; and his sisters, Christina Hurles, Sylvia & her husband Rick Gonzales, and Lorena Hurles Gomez. He was also a devoted grandfather to Aidan, Caleb, Dyllan, and Nevaeh and
a beloved uncle to his four nieces and one nephew.
Randy was born in Eureka, CA, and grew up in Caldwell, ID, before later moving to Boise, where he built a life filled with love and friendship. From a young age, Randy was passionate about sports, especially baseball, which he played throughout
school and continued to enjoy as an adult on various teams. He cherished the friendships he made through sports and the memories they shared.
A fixture at the Sunrise café, Randy could be found meeting his friends for coffee every morning, rain or shine. This daily ritual meant the world to him as he treasured the camaraderie and lively conversations with his close-knit group.
Randy was also an enthusiastic football fan who loved cheering on his favorite teams, whether at home or at BSU games. He especially enjoyed spending time at the family’s lake house on the Oregon coast, where he found peace and joy in the simple pleasures—sitting by the window, gazing out over the lake, and visiting nearby Florence in search of the perfect new T-shirt.
Randy will be remembered as a fun-loving, outgoing, and fiercely protective soul. His radiant smile and vibrant personality lit up every room, and his kindness, passion, and devotion to the people in his life touched many hearts. Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Until we meet again.
