Raul Rodriguez Carbajal Sr., 71, of Caldwell, passed away, Monday, January 16, 2017. He was born March 10, 1945 to Alejandro and Guadalupe (Rodriguez) Carbajal Sr. in Eagle Pass, TX. He married Oralia Garza in 1961 and they were blessed with four children. He worked for many years at Boise Parks and Recreation in maintenance Department. He enjoyed working on vintage cars, traveling and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his grandchildren dearly. He is survived by his wife, Oralia; children: Sally Dwyer, Rudy Jr. Carbajal, Sylvia and David Garcia and Lucinda and Casey Wilson; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Maria Sierra, Alex Carbajal, Manuel Carbajal, Rudolfo Carbajal, Fred Carbajal, Robert Carbajal, Larry Carbajal, Rosa Castillon, Sandra Oyervides, Judy Carbajal and Dorothy Carbajal. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Samuel Carbajal and Linda Salazar and 2 grandsons, Jonathon “JP” Branen and David Edwin Dwyer. Raul’s viewing will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM with Rosary Recital at 7:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Condolences may be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.
