Ray Roger DuRan 2/25/1953 - 3/25/2012 Ray was born to Ray and Cora Duran on February 25, 1953 in Denver, Colorado. He was in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He loved to play the bass guitar, guitar and drums. He was an avid coin collector, also collected movies and music. He enjoyed playing music at church. Ray was a sports enthusiast including such sports as softball, golf, volleyball, bowling, tennis and raquetball. He enjoyed coaching youth softball and basketball. He taught religious education and confirmation classes at Our Lady Mother of the Church. Ray loved spending time with his family and friends. Ray is preceeded in death by his Father, Ray R. Duran and Granddaughter, Mia DuRan as well as siblings, Henry Duran and Cecilia Ramirez. He is survived by: wife, Linda DuRan; Sons, Chris (Robin ) DuRan, Jake (Gabrielle) DuRan and Ray (Lisa) DuRan II; Grandchildren, Tyson DuRan and Danielle DuRan. Also survived by: Mother, Cora Duran; and siblings, Richard "Dick" (Ida) Duran, Vic (Liz) Duran, Alva Duran, Tony Duran, Roberta (John) Grant, Keith (Shirley) Duran, Joe (Lisa) Gonzales, Mary Becerra and Joe Duran as well as several nieces and nephews. A Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (11385 Grant Drive Northglenn, Colorado 80233) on Monday, April 2, 2012 beginning with the Rosary at 10:30 am.
