Raymond H. “Randy” Carson Jr., 74, passed away on December 18, 2019 in Olympia, Washington. He was born August 4, 1945 to Marion Bavel Carson and Raymond H. Carson Sr. in Hoquiam, Washington. The past 10 years, he resided at Capitol Place. The family thanks his caregivers who provided warm and loving care, Kat Valentine, Sofy Whitney, and April Sudano. Randy graduated from Olympia High School and Olympia Voc Tech. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Randy married Mary Lynne Monte. He worked at Yenneys Music Company, and Holroyd & Boe Sand and Gravel. He was a longtime ham radio operator, and was proud of his call sign, K7RBR. He also was a Lionel Train collector. Randy is survived by son, Todd A. Carson; grandchildren, Ryan, Jaden, Vann, Brynn and Camerynn; brother, Brian A. Carson; sister, Karen Carson Pulli; and former wife, Mary Lynne Carson. He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan A. Carson; both parents; and sister, Gayle Carson Schatz.
