December 21st, 1925 - April 7th, 2006
Dutton, Raymond Arthur, 83, of St. Petersburg, died Friday April 7, 2006 at St. Anthony?s Hospital under the care of Hospice. He was born in Fitch Bay, Quebec and came here in 1969, from London Ontario. He was a retired machinist and tool-maker for Aircraft Porous Media Pall Corp. in Pinellas Park. He graduated from Beal Technical Institute of London. He was descended from the Revolutionary War Veterans who pioneered in settling the wilderness of Southern Quebec?s Eastern Townships around Lake Memphremagog before 1800. He was a Canadian Army Veteran of the Second World War serving with the Scottish Black Watch and the Algonquin Regiment, earning the Volunteer Service Medal and the France and Germany Stars. He was Protestant. He was predeceased by his son, Raymond A. Dutton, Jr., St. Petersburg, his brother, Roy Alan Dutton, Lennoxville Quebec, and parents, Dolly Sarah Buzzell, and Calvin Dutton, Fitch Bay, Quebec. Survivors include his wife of 54 years: Sally Edell; three daughters: Pamela E. Dutton, Largo, FL, Carole Duquette, Shrewsbury, VT, and Barbara Letourneau, Derby Line, VT; a son: Calvin Roy Dutton, Ocala, FL; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
