Raymond Albert Ganoe

Raymond Albert Ganoe, 72, of Cape Canaveral, Florida born in Clarion, PA., passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014, in Fleming Island, Florida. Born on May 3, 2041 in Clarion; he was the son of William E. and Cecilia Aaron Ganoe. Raymond was a graduate of CL High School 1960. He then graduated from Clarion University with a degree in Secondary Science Education. He taught Science at Clarion High School and coached basketball. Ray is a member of Our Savior Catholic Church in Merritt Island, FL He is also a charter member and former president of the Merritt Island Breakfast Rotary Club. Raymond was proceeds on death by his parents and brothers Leo Ganoe, David Ganoe, Bill Ganoe, Ed Ganoe and Richard Ganoe and his sister Claire Marie Leitch. He is survived by a son Steven Ganoe and daughter in law Deborah and grandsons; Mac, Jack and Stevie Jr. Ganoe from Fleming Island, FL. Daughters Cheri Ganoe Villa and her husband Tony Villa from Manassas, VA and four grandchildren: Britney Zeman (Silver Springs MD) Ben Zeman (Virginia Beach, FL) twins Aaron and Alese from Manassas, VA. His daughter Marcia Ganoe and partner Jenni Moheinger from Seattle, WA. Also surviving are five siblings, Mary Louise Beichner of Oil City, Dorothy Beichner and her husband, Eugene, of New Castle, Robert Ganoe of Clarion, Katheleen Thompson and her husband, Dick of Clarion and Bernard "Bun" Ganoe and his wife, Linda of Clarion; four sisters-in-law, Nancy Ganoe of Clarion, Gayle Ganoe of Clarion and Donna Ganoe of Fisher, and former wife Noreen Ganoe Pieper of The Villages, Florida. Family will receive friends and visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, April 12th, 2014 followed by a Catholic Mass at 11:30am at Our Savior Catholic Church 5300 North Atlantic Ave. Cocoa Beach, FL.
