Raymond F Leblanc, 82 of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at his residence. He was born in Providence, R.I. on July 2, 1928 to the late Elzear and Ada (Goselin) Leblanc. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, he moved to Sun City Center in 2002. Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Society, a retired Design Engineer, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Sawdust Engineers. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife: Ann Marie (Crandall), Sons: Raymond (Shirley) Leblanc of Pinckney, MI, Thomas Leblanc of Hartville, OH, Jeffrey (Kathy) Knurek of Fishers, IN, Daughters: Susan (Peter) Vandergoore of Jackson Township, OH, Cindy Boane of Clearwater, FL, Kathy (John) Sedlak of Plain Township, OH, Claudia (Dean) Anderson of Navarre, OH, Laura (Daniel) Pappas of Ft. Wayne, IN and Mary (Timothy) Jacobs of Sunbury, OH. Sister Theresa Phillips of Sun City Center, FL. Brothers: Clifford (Norma) Leblanc, Leo (Mae) Leblanc and 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Lisa Leblanc of Inkster, MI. Friends may call on January 12, 2011 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Sun City Center Funeral Home 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL Memorial Service will be held on January 13, 2011, 11:00am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sun City Center Community Association's Sawdust Engineers.
