Luther, Raymond Herbert ?Ray?, 81, of Largo and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Thursday December 25, 2003. He came here in 1936 from his native Erie, Pennsylvania. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a postal worker for the U.S. Post Office in St. Petersburg, retiring after 30 years of service and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 1477. He was a Charter member of North East Park Baptist Church and the F&AM Northside Lodge #283 in St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Maxine M.; a son, Thomas Luther of Snellville, Georgia; two sisters: Marion Garver and Eleanor Quinlivan, both of St. Petersburg; one grandson; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
