Raymond C. Tinsley of Port Charlotte, FL passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018. He was 99 years old. Born on October 12, 1918 in Farmington, KY to John and Bertha (nee Dowdy) Tinsley, Raymond graduated high school and went on serve in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and spending time maintaining and repairing lawn care equipment, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Raymond was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucy Naoma (nee Humphreys) Tinsley and is survived by his sons, Larry (Chris) and Kenneth (Michele); grandchildren, Tracie, Samantha, Tyler and Zachray and great-grandchildren, Noah and Tristan. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Interment will take place at Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, KY.
