Rebecca Roberts Parker
March 19th, 1949 - November 3rd, 2013
Lexington, KY Rebecca "Boo Boo" Parker, 64, died November 3, 2013. She is survived by her daughters April (Shawn) Yeary and Elizabeth (Andrew) Harrison; sisters Mary Elizabeth (Don) Clark, Suzanne Parker and Laura (Randy) Vanlandingham; brother Ron (Wanda) Parker; grandchildren Amber (Jamie) Guy, Lauren Harrison, Matthew Harrison, Parker Lane Yeary and Madelyn MacKenzie Yeary; great grandchild Zander Guy; favorite nephews Tommy, Louie and Kyle Clark, Bill and Patrick Dotson and David Vanlandingham and niece Kathryn Vanlandingham. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Elizabeth (Ratliff) Parker. Becky was an amazing, caring woman who changed the lives of everyone she met. Having run a very successful business, she lived by a set of principles where everyone was equal, and everyone was valued. Her loves were many. "Sister road trips" to Gatlinburg, or the beach were legendary; days at the ball field were favored memories to all who attended; her love of horses, knitting, playing games and just being a mom, grandma and great grandma were her favorite times. Everyone who met her felt her sincerity, unselfish love and warmth, even if it was your first meeting...she never knew a stranger. She will be missed, but never forgotten, by all who knew her. Funeral Information There will be a visitation, from 5-8 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, immediately followed by a funeral service at 8 PM.
