Reese L. Jones

"Palmer - Reese L. Jones, 68, died on January 9, 2018 at his home. Born February 12, 1949 in Colorado Springs, CO, he lived for many years in Honolulu, HI before moving to Palmer 30 years ago. From the age of 10, Reece loved ham radios and used his radios every day. He made a career of it in the Merchant Marines as a radio officer for 25 years before retiring. He was also very active in the community as a volunteer for various humanitarian groups. He will be missed by his brother, Gary Jones of Marianna, FL, as well as a step brother Shawn Gettman of Panama City, FL and brother in law, Nelson Pease and his wife Beverly Palmer, MA. Besides his parents, Reese was preceded in death by his wife Diane (Pease) "Kay" Jones in 2004, his "second mom" Barbara Jones, and sister in law Linda Jones (2014). At his request, all services are private and have been entrusted to Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home."
