Regina M. Miller 90, of Tacoma, died February 11, 2012. Born in Royalton, Minnesota on April 10, 1921, Regina had lived in the Tacoma area for the past 64 years. She was an avid gardener and baker and loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and faithfully served on the Altar Society. Regina is survived by her children, Melvin (Susan) Miller of Wenatchee, Walter (Janice) Miller, Janet Miller, Teresa (Bob) Johnston, and Eileen (Gary) Fortin, all of Tacoma, her sisters Theresia Fussy, Bernice Wollack, and Evelyn Krystosek, all of Minnesota, 11 grandchildren, and 7.5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, and a daughter, Marilyn. The Rosary will be recited on Friday at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m., both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 p.m., at Curnow Funeral Home, 1504 Main Street, Sumner. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Altar Society or Franciscan Hospice. Arrangements under the direction of Curnow Funeral Home, 253-863-2800.
