SIMONE, Regina, “Regie”, 64, of Lutz, Fla., passed away on Thursday October 20, 2011. She was born in Germany, and was raised and went to school in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1976, Regie moved to Fla. She worked for 28 years at Northside Mental Health Center in Tampa and earned her place as a Purchasing and Facilities Manager. Regie loved out door sports, bowling and going to the beach. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Bergstrom; son, Don Simone and his wife, Kim of Basking Ridge, NJ; mother, Emilia Tenney of Belleair Beach, Fla.; brother, Al Koncius and his wife, Janice of Indian Hill, Ohio; two granddaughters, Kaylee and Lindsey; nephew, Adam Koncius and his wife, Kerri and their son, AJ; niece, Pamela Long and her husband, Creigh. Donations made be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
