Renee Jean Buswell

Renee Jean Buswell, 54, of Colorado Springs died September 18, 2019. She was born August 21, 1965 in Boston, MA to Robert and Janette Rowell. After finishing high school, she married her 1st husband, Duane Anderson. While expecting their first child Duane died, just a week before their sons birth. She moved to Colorado Springs in the late 1980s, where she continued her education at Primerica, earning an associate degree in Criminal Justice. On May 12, 2006 she married her current husband, James E. Buswell. Renee loved butterflies and unicorns and her favorite color was purple. She enjoyed listening to Elton John and Billy Joel and would often listen to them while playing her favorite card game, Texas Hold Em. She liked to be active and could be found bowling or swimming. Renee is survived by her husband, Jimmy; her son, Corey Anderson; mother, Janet Rowell; sisters, Robin Rowell, Rhonda (Bill) Howe, Gina Westerlind, Ashley Rowell and Amanda Rowell Andrews; brothers, Ryan Rowell, Bobby Rowell; Mike Rowell and Dan Rowell; the Anderson side, mother in law, Carol Anderson; sister in laws, Cathy (Wade) Gann and Christy Anderson; and brother in law, Chuck Anderson; and her husbands family, mother in law, Lucille Buswell; step children, Jimmy, Rocko and Stephanie; two step grandchildren, Ryland and Rylee; and her companion pups, Lucy and Rusty.
